Bercianos - Mansilla de las Mules 09 November 2002 Day's km: 27 Overall km: 813.5 27 km to Mansilla de las Mules. Only around 329 km left. It really is not that much time before I find myself in Compostela. The Royal Camino route showcased the meseta today. Finally it is pretty close to Kansas flat. The Camino is a white gravel path next to a small road across the agricultural land. Not many landmarks here. Mansilla de las Mules is a cool town. I arrived early enough to go exploring. Much of the original medieval fortifications are still present although in a state of semi-ruin. Laura runs the pilgrim hostel here. Wow, she is an extrovert. |
