An early start today made possible by staying in a crowded pilgrim albergue. I left before most and stayed ahead most of the pack even arriving at the Estella pilgrim albergue first. It was sweaty work due to several short and steep acents under the broiling sun.

Since today was essentially a half day I enjoyed the town. I soon found a restaurant and had some seafood paella and a prehistoric-looking fish with a few beers. The fish was fantastic! My unsuccessful search for an Internet cafe did lead me to a phone with which I called home and then later to a small little local bar where I am eating tapas and writing this. The music is loud and the the crowd young and vibrant. This feels like a small college bar. The friendly barmaid thought it was funny I did not know what to call the giant potato omlette-thing. Now I know that it is called a tortilla. I feel funny calling it that but at least I can remember it's name.

I am not sure where I am headed tomorrow. I heard the albergue I was planning on using may be closed. I may go there anyway as there is a cheap hotel with good meals and the alternatives are too close or too far.
