Moving steadily along. Two coyotes passed within 50 ft of me — one on each side. That was cool. I just happened to look up from my shady rest spot at the right time. Water is still scarce. I filtered about two cups from one of Lint's leftover water caches but then it leaked out in my backpack while hiking. :( Boo! I filled up at a mud puddle a couple miles later. I don't have much left to get me the ~9 miles to Russell tank tomorrow.
