I wasn't sure how I'd feel today so I told Joe last night to plan on a Friday morning trip back out to the trail It turns out that I feel decent today and could have gone out. I don't feel bad about staying an extra day here though. It's only $35/night for thruhikers and I still haven't tried the food at the brewery. And another day of rest can only help the foot.

I finally met Krista today. She's a Canadian lass that started around the same time as me. We've almost run into each other a few times. She was looking for a cabin but there's no vacancy. She's in my cabin now taking a shower while I'm in the laundromat washing my town clothes. She's tenting nearby tonight. It's always nice to hang out with another hiker and talk about the lows and highs of the trail.
