Just a quick mile uphill and some easy miles down to the trailhead. I'm glad that I purified a little more watter before leaving camp. I was somewhat dehydrated and that extra liter of cold spring water was just what I needed. The hike was only 21/2 hours or so then I was on AZ 87 walking to Pine. In short order I was standing in front of "That Brewery and Pub". The brewery also has some cabins it rents and I sent my bounce box here. To my shock and horror the brewery is closed Mon and Tues but I found the brewer working on the roof and I got a cabin, some samples, and a growler. I'm set.
