Quick entry today. Decent miles walking along forest roads until the last few miles. I talked with some ATVers and helped them find El Oso mine. Most importantly I accidentally mooched beer from some dudes in a truck. They drove down the dirt road and the driver asked me something that sound like it ended in "beer?" I thought they were taking pity on the dirty, sweaty hiker in the sun and were offering me the last of their weekend beers. So I was like, "Sure I'll take a beer!" They were in fact asking if I had seen a bear, but the driver gave me two beers anyway. Score! Bien fra. Directly out of the cooler with crushed ice covering the top. I was so excited because I was due for a snack break anyway.
